Receive from Guwahati Airport/station & transfer to Scotland of the east- "Shillong" the capital of Meghalaya, is the home to numerous waterfalls. The exciting mountain peaks, crystal clear lakes, breathtakingly beautiful golf courses, museum and the zoo are the key reasons why people visit Shillong. Apart from the natural beauty, Shillong also acts as the gateway to Meghalaya, the state famous for heavy rain falls, caving, tallest waterfalls, beautiful landscapes and amazing people and culture. Enroute visit - Umiam Lake or Barapani - is the biggest artificial lake in Meghalaya. Overnight At Shillong.
After breakfast visit to Mawlynnong village- Mawlynnong is known for its cleanliness.The waste is collected in the dustbins made of bamboo, directed to a pit and then used as manure. The travel magazine Discover India declared the village as the cleanest in Asia in 2003, and the cleanest in India in 2005. The phrase has since caught on. Moasunep Kichu's documentary on the village, for instance, is called Asia's Cleanest Village. Dawki provides wonderful views of the Meghalayan landscape. The town is a nice vantage point for admiring the Khasi and Jaintia Hills Overnight at Shilong.
After breakfast starts for Shillong sightseeing Covers Lady Hydri Park, Shillong Pick, Elephant Falls, Science Museum, Church. Overnight At Shilong.
In the morning, begin the excursion towards the wettest place on Earth, Cherrapunji. It is at a distance of 60 km and on the way come across several waterfalls, limestone caves, striking root bridge, and other natural sites to provide several activities. Visit the Spectacular Seven Sisters Falls, the Mawsmai Cave and the Thangkharang Park. In the evening, return to Shillong and on the way back, stop by the Elephanta Falls and the famous Shillong Peak, it allows a great view. Later, return back to the hotel and stay overnight at the Shillong hotel.
After breakfast transfer to Kaziranga National park which is world famous for Single Horn Rhino, En route enjoy the Tea Garden cynic beauty, over night stay at Kaziranga.(Forest safari is optional -Guest own cost)
