Best Time to Visit
McLeodganj stays comfortable through spring and autumn, while Triund itself, at nearly two thousand nine hundred metres, turns genuinely cold overnight even outside winter. The trek runs from roughly March through June and September through November, since the monsoon makes the trail slippery and winter brings heavy snow to the ridge. May and October offer the clearest combination of stable weather and open mountain views.
