Best Time to Visit
Lahaul and Spiti sit far higher and drier than anywhere else on this series' routes, genuine cold desert with intense sun by day and sharp cold after sunset even in peak summer. This route is only open from roughly mid-June through early October, since snow closes the high passes for the rest of the year. July and August bring the clearest, driest riding conditions of the season.
