Day 1: Bagdogra Airport / New Jalpaiguri Railway Station to Gangtok
Meet & Greet on arrival at NJP to Gangtok. Evening visit to Gangtok mall by walking. Overnight stay at Gangtok Hotel.
Day 2: Gangtok to Tsomgo Lake, Baba Mandir Excursion:
After breakfast start for an excursion to Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft.) & Baba Mandir (13,200 ft.) which is 55 kms one way from Gangtok city. Evening free for leisure. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 3: Gangtok to Lachung
After breakfast Departure from Gangtok hotel for Lachung with Limited Luggage via Naga water falls, The seven sisters water falls. Overnight stay at Lachung.
Day 4: Yumthang valley visit & Back to Gangtok
Early morning trip to Yumthang, at an elevation of 11,800 ft and 140 kms from Gangtok is a paradise for nature lovers with a fascinating blend of flora and fauna and breathtaking scenic grandeur. The valley boasts a large variety of Rhododendrons and other alpine flowers. Yumthang ‘Tsa-Chu’or the hot spring of the left bank of Lachung Chu is immensely popular for its curative properties and healing power. Set at an elevation of 3575 meters above sea level, the Yumthang Valley is Sikkim’s undisputed natural paradise that is easily accessible via road. Transfer to Gangtok hotel. Day 5: Gangtok to Pelling
After breakfast transfer from Gangtok to Pelling. Pelling is as close as you can get to Kanchenjunga without leaving the material comfort of good hotels and due to its advantageous location, many hotels and lodges have established in and around Pelling. Overnight at Pelling.
Day 6: Pelling local sightseeing
After breakfast Pelling local sight seeings of Rimbi Waterfalls, Kanchanjungha Waterfalls, Khechopalri Lake, Rimbi Rock Garden, Pemayangtse Monastery, Helipad Ground, Rabdantsey Ruins, Skywalk. Overnight stay at Pelling hotel.
Day 7: Pelling to Darjeeling
After breakfast check out from hotel and transfer to Darjeeling. Darjeeling is a town in India’s West Bengal state, in the Himalayan foothills. Once a summer resort for the British Raj elite, it remains the terminus of the narrow-gauge Darjeeling Himalayan Railway, or “Toy Train,” completed in 1881. It’s famed for the distinctive black tea grown on plantations that dot its surrounding slopes. Its backdrop is Mt. Kanchenjunga, among the world’s highest peaks. Evening visit Darjeeling mall by walking. Overnight stay at Darjeeling.
Day 8: Darjeeling local sightseeing (3 point & mix point)
Early Morning (at 04:00 am) drive to Tiger hill to watch the spectacular sunrise over Mt. Kanchenjunga (28,208 ft. Worlds 3rd highest peak), on your way back visit Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop (If Possible or open at the time of return from Tiger Hill Tour). After breakfast go for a half-day sightseeing of Japanese Temple, Peace pagoda, Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park & Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (Closed on Thursday), Tenzing & Gombu Rock, Tea Estate, Overnight stay at Hotel.
Day 9: Drop to Bagdogra Airport / New Jalpaiguri Railway Station
After breakfast check out from hotel in time and transfer to Bagdogra Airport / New Jalpaiguri Railway Station. Journey ends with sweet memories.
