Best Time to Visit
Kasol stays mild through spring and autumn, while Sar Pass itself, at over four thousand two hundred metres, holds snow through the trekking season regardless of month. The trek runs from roughly April through June and September through October, since the monsoon makes trails slippery and winter closes the route with heavy snow. May and June offer the fullest snow crossing at the pass itself.
