Day 2 • Kashmir Packages: Pahalgam to Srinagar via Valley Sightseeing

After breakfast, proceed to Srinagar via exciting Pahalgam valley sightseeing including Aru Valley, Chandanwari, Betaab Valley, and Baisaran at your own cost through local taxi or pony rides. These Kashmir packages include scenic route exploration through some of the most beautiful valleys in the region. This highlight of our Kashmir packages features the world-famous Gulmarg Gondola, one of the highest cable car systems globally (direct payment basis). The gondola journey provides stunning views of snow-covered mountains and the international border between India and Pakistan. Visitors can explore Khilanmarg, a picturesque location renowned for natural beauty and alpine meadows. Gulmarg offers high-altitude golf courses, nature walks, and excellent photography opportunities. During summer months, the meadows bloom with colorful wildflowers creating spectacular natural carpets. Winter transforms the area into a skiing paradise with powder snow and perfect slopes. The Premium Kashmir Packages Valley Discovery tour runs for 6 days and 5 nights starting with a pickup from Jammu Railway Station. The route covers Pahalgam on Day 1, Srinagar from Day 2 onward with a full day of Mughal Gardens on Day 3, a Sonamarg excursion on Day 4, a Gulmarg day trip on Day 5 and a return to Jammu Railway Station on Day 6.

Day 3 is dedicated to a full-day tour of the Mughal Gardens in Srinagar, covering Nishat Garden, Shalimar Garden, Shankar Acharya Temple and Cheshma Shahi. These gardens were built by Mughal emperors and represent the high point of the historic garden tradition in Kashmir. Entry fees at these gardens are paid directly on site and are not included in the package cost.

Sonamarg, meaning meadow of gold, is located at approximately 2,800 metres above sea level and is one of the most scenic destinations in Kashmir. The Day 4 excursion from Srinagar covers the Thajiwas Glacier area, alpine meadows and snow-capped mountain panoramas. Horse or pony charges for Thajiwas Glacier access are paid locally and not included in the package.

The Gulmarg Gondola is not included in the package cost. On Day 5, the vehicle takes the group to Gulmarg at approximately 2,730 metres for the full day. The Gondola cable car charges for Phase 1 and Phase 2 are paid locally at the counter or online and are subject to weather and availability on the day.

The package includes accommodation, daily breakfast, a professional driver and all transfers and sightseeing as per the itinerary. Comprehensive travel insurance, pony rides and local transportation in Pahalgam for inner-line sightseeing, tips, laundry and beverages are excluded and paid by the traveller directly.
