Best Time to Visit
October to March is recommended for this Parambikulam-Nelliampathy forest circuit, when the post-monsoon forest is at its most accessible with dry trails and increased wildlife movement around water sources as the dry season progresses. Monsoon from June to September brings heavy rain to the Western Ghats, making trail and bamboo raft access weather-dependent. Tented Niche accommodation is in highest demand between October and February.
