Best Time to Visit
This route climbs from Chautara's moderate hill altitude to roughly 4,100 metres at Panch Pokhari, genuinely cold at the lakes even in the warmer trekking months. The trek runs best March through May and September through November, since monsoon brings dangerous trail conditions and winter brings heavy snow at altitude.
