Overview
Every day visitor to Nongriat follows the same arc – 3,500 steps down by 9am, the bridge by 11, the pool in the early afternoon, the 3,500 steps back up by 4pm and Cherrapunji before dark. The valley floor runs on that schedule for most of the visiting season. The nongriat village overnight stay meghalaya package breaks it by not going back. Winters (October–February) are crisp and dry (4°C–16°C), perfect for exploring living root bridges, crystal-clear Dawki river, and limestone caves. October to April is the best time for sightseeing, trekking, and clear valley views.
