Best Time to Visit
This route climbs from Pokhara's mild altitude to roughly 4,500 metres at Mardi Himal Base Camp, genuinely cold at the top even in the warmer trekking months. The trek runs best March through May and September through November, since monsoon brings dangerous ridge conditions and winter brings heavy snow at altitude.
