Best Time to Visit
October to February is most recommended for this Munnar-Marayoor-Chinnar-Kanthalloor circuit, with the post-monsoon period from October onward giving the best sandalwood forest and Chinnar trek conditions. The Kanthalloor orchards are most productive between November and February when fruit is on the trees. Summer from March to May runs hotter in the rain-shadow zone than the west-facing Kerala hills at the same altitude.
