Best Time to Visit
This route climbs from Soti Khola's warm lowland start to Larkya La at over five thousand one hundred metres, genuinely cold and exposed at the pass regardless of season. The trek runs best March through May and September through November, since monsoon makes the lower trail dangerous and winter closes the pass under heavy snow.
