Best Time to Visit
Pokhara stays mild through most of the year, while Kagbeni and Marpha, both above two thousand five hundred metres, hold genuine cold and increasingly arid conditions along the Kali Gandaki gorge. The route runs best from February through June and September through December, with winter and monsoon both bringing genuine difficulty on the gorge road.
