Best Time to Visit
Haridwar sits at the edge of the Gangetic plain, warmer and more humid than the hill towns further up the valley, comfortable through winter and genuinely hot before the monsoon. Winter, December through February, brings the clearest, most comfortable conditions. The monsoon, July through September, brings heavy rain and can raise the Ganga considerably.
