Best Time to Visit
This route climbs from Sankri's moderate altitude to Har Ki Dun at roughly 3,566 metres, genuinely cold at the upper valley. The trek runs best April through June and September through November, since monsoon makes the trail dangerous and winter brings heavy snow at altitude.
