Overview
This everest marathon tour package combines the classic trek to base camp with the Tenzing-Hillary Everest Marathon, the world's highest marathon, starting from base camp itself and descending back through the Khumbu. The Everest region climbs from Lukla's roughly 2,800 metres to base camp's 5,364 metres, genuinely cold throughout. The marathon itself runs annually around late May, timed to coincide with the anniversary of the first Everest summit, requiring travel dates fixed to that specific window rather than the broader spring and autumn seasons this series usually recommends.
