Best Time to Visit
Chitwan sits in Nepal's warm, humid lowland Terai, considerably different from the hill climate of Kathmandu and Pokhara. Winter, December through February, brings the clearest, most comfortable safari conditions, cool mornings and mild days. March through May turns noticeably hotter, while June through September brings heavy monsoon rain that limits jeep access to parts of the park.
