Best Time to Visit
Hasimara and Phuentsholing stay warm and humid most of the year, while Haa Valley and Paro turn noticeably cooler once the road climbs past 2,500 metres. Haa in particular holds its chill longer than Thimphu or Paro, with frost common on winter mornings. March to May brings clear pine forest walks and rhododendron blooms around Haa, while September to November offers the sharpest Himalayan views after the monsoon clears.
