Best Time to Visit
The Dooars stays warm and humid most of the year, coolest and driest between November and February, which is also when wildlife sightings along the forest edge tend to be easiest. Phuentsholing carries that same warmth across the border, while Thimphu and Paro turn noticeably colder at altitude. March through May brings clear skies on both sides of the border, while October through February offers the best combination of dry Dooars weather and sharp Himalayan views once the monsoon clears.
