This annapurna base camp trek package, also called the Annapurna Sanctuary trek, climbs through rhododendron forest and terraced farmland to the base of the world's tenth-highest peak, taking in the famous Poon Hill sunrise along the way. Best Time to Visit
This route climbs from Pokhara's mild lake-level altitude to 4,130 metres at Annapurna Base Camp, genuinely cold at the top even in the recommended trekking months. The trek runs best March through May, when rhododendrons bloom along the lower trail, and September through November, offering the clearest mountain views.
