The Andaman Islands give a photographer seven distinct subjects within five days — the Aberdeen Bazaar fish market before dawn where the first light through the covered market section falls on the sellers and the catch, the Chiriya Tapu forest-sea edge at the moment before the sun clears the mangrove canopy, the Kalapathar Beach rocks in the first horizontal light of the Havelock sunrise, the Radhanagar Beach tree line silhouetted against the copper sky thirty minutes before the sun drops, the Cellular Jail wing geometry from the central corridor, the Ross Island church wall arch with the rootwork growing through the window frame and the deer on the cleared path between the ruins. Each of these is specific to this andaman photography package and unavailable in the same combination anywhere else in India. The reef adds an eighth subject — the North Bay glass bottom boat gives the coral from above through clear panels without an underwater housing. The andaman photography package sequences all seven of these positions across five days with the pre-dawn starts and the golden hour arrivals that each one requires.
Bon Voyagers manages the complete ground programme from Port Blair Airport arrival. Day 1 covers the Cellular Jail in the late afternoon golden hour and the evening light and sound show. Day 2 opens with the pre-dawn Aberdeen Bazaar fish market shoot before the Havelock ferry and the Radhanagar afternoon light assessment. Day 3 is the full Havelock photography day — Kalapathar sunrise and Radhanagar sunset. Day 4 takes the ferry back to Port Blair for the Ross Island golden hour ruins shoot. Day 5 opens at Chiriya Tapu before dawn and closes at Port Blair Airport. Vehicle transfers, ferry tickets and all boat tickets are included. Photography equipment is personal — nothing is provided.

Photography conditions in the Andaman Islands are at their best between October and May when the sky is clearest for the golden hour sessions and the humidity is lower than the monsoon months. The Kalapathar sunrise and the Radhanagar sunset — the two centrepiece sessions of Day 3 — produce their most vivid results in the post-monsoon months of October through December when the sky is clear of cloud cover and the low sun angle creates the directional light that both compositions require. The pre-dawn Aberdeen Bazaar fish market shoot is available year-round but the contrast of the covered market interior is best appreciated when the exterior light at dawn is cooler and the light differential between inside and outside is greatest — November through February. The Ross Island golden hour is most consistent in the October to April window when afternoon cloud cover is minimal.
