The Andaman Islands are approximately 572 kilometres long from the northernmost accessible point to the southernmost. Most Andaman visitors see perhaps 60 kilometres of that length — the ferry from Port Blair to Havelock, the road to the southern beaches. This north andaman tour package covers the rest. The drive from Port Blair to Diglipur is approximately 320 kilometres through forest roads that pass through the convoy zone of the Jarawa Tribal Reserve, the limestone caves of Baratang, the mangrove waterways of Rangat, the Karen community settlement and the turtle beaches of Mayabunder and the feral elephant sanctuary of Interview Island before arriving at the highest point in the entire archipelago — Saddle Peak at approximately 732 metres, reached by a full day forest trek through Saddle Peak National Park. The Ross and Smith Islands sandbar sits at the midpoint of that north reach — two islands connected by a pale strip of sand with the sea at ankle height on both sides. Seven days is the minimum that circuit deserves.
Bon Voyagers manages the complete ground programme from Port Blair Airport arrival. Day 1 covers Baratang and arrives at Rangat. Day 2 moves to Mayabunder with the Moricedera mangroves and Karmatang Beach. Day 3 is the Interview Island wildlife sanctuary excursion. Day 4 continues to Diglipur with the Ross and Smith Islands sandbar in the afternoon. Day 5 is the Saddle Peak full day trek. Day 6 is the long return drive to Port Blair. Day 7 is the departure. Private AC Ertiga or Xylo class vehicle covers all road transfers. Boat tickets for Interview Island, Moricedera creek, Baratang cave crossing and Ross and Smith Islands, Saddle Peak forest department permit, and all entry charges are included. Daily breakfast and dinner on MAP basis throughout all seven days.

The complete north Andaman circuit in this package is best attempted between October and May when the sea crossing to Interview Island is safe, the Saddle Peak trek trail is dry enough for comfortable ascent and the convoy roads between Port Blair and Diglipur are in good condition. The monsoon from June through September makes the Interview Island boat crossing unsafe, turns the Saddle Peak trail dangerously slippery and degrades road conditions in North Andaman significantly. The Karmatang Beach turtle nesting season runs October through March, making the post-monsoon window the ideal period for combining all elements of this north andaman tour package. Peak demand falls in December through February when temperatures are at their most comfortable for the long drives and the full-day Saddle Peak trek.
