Overview

The andaman 7 days package gives the Andaman Islands circuit the time it deserves. Five days covers the essential — Port Blair, one Havelock day and one Neil Island overnight. Seven days adds what five days cannot fit — a full day at Baratang Island for the limestone caves and the mangrove channel boat ride, a second complete day at Havelock for the Kalapathar sunrise and the Radhanagar sunset at their own hour rather than squeezed into a single day and a Sitapur sunrise at Neil Island before the return ferry without the departure pressure that a single Neil overnight creates. Baratang Island is 100 kilometres north of Port Blair in Middle Andaman — the limestone caves there are geological formations found nowhere else in the Andaman chain, reached by a mangrove channel boat ride from the Baratang jetty and a forest walk to the cave entrance. The andaman 7 days package covers all of this across seven days without any single day feeling overloaded.

Bon Voyagers manages the complete ground programme from Port Blair Airport arrival. Day 1 covers Port Blair and the Cellular Jail. Day 2 is the Baratang Island full day trip — limestone caves, mangrove channel and mud volcanoes. Day 3 takes the ferry to Havelock for the Radhanagar afternoon. Day 4 is Kalapathar sunrise, Elephant Beach and Radhanagar sunset. Day 5 is the second Havelock day for additional activities and the island at its own pace. Day 6 crosses to Neil Island. Day 7 is the Sitapur sunrise, the return ferry and Ross Island before the departure. Itinerary

The andaman 7 days package begins at Port Blair Airport where the Bon Voyagers representative meets the group on arrival. Port Blair is the entry and the base for the first two nights of this andaman 7 days package — the city that holds the Cellular Jail, the ferry terminals and the road north to Baratang. The afternoon covers the Cellular Jail — built between 1896 and 1906 across seven radiating wings, now a national memorial where the architecture of the British colonial penal system is visible in the structure of the building itself. The evening light and sound show runs approximately 45 minutes after dark. An early night follows — Day 2 is the Baratang day trip and the convoy departure from Port Blair requires an early morning start, typically before 6 AM, to reach the Jarawa Tribal Reserve checkpoint before the convoy window closes. Best Time to Visit

The andaman 7 days package is best completed between October and May when all elements of the seven-day circuit are accessible. The Baratang Island convoy and cave visit on Day 2 is available year-round but road conditions during the June to September monsoon can delay the convoy timing and make the mangrove channel crossing less comfortable. Havelock Island sea and reef conditions are at their best between October and May when water clarity at Elephant Beach is highest and ferry services operate reliably. The Kalapathar sunrise and Radhanagar sunset on Day 4 are most dramatic in the October to February post-monsoon window when the sky is clear of cloud cover. December through February is the peak demand window for this package when all seven days align well in terms of weather, sea and light.
