The road from Shillong to Cherrapunji passes through a viewpoint where the valley drops from the road edge without the plateau preparation that Cherrapunji’s cliff face provides. Mawkdok Dympep Valley opens on the left side of the descending road – a deep valley system where the surrounding hills frame a view wide enough that the eye has to move rather than settle. Most visitors see it through a car window at 40 kilometres per hour on the way to Nohkalikai. The mawkdok dympep valley meghalaya package stops there.
Bon handles the vehicle from Guwahati Airport or Railway Station with Shillong as Night 1. Day 2 arrives at Mawkdok in the morning before the viewpoint fills – the zip-line runs over the valley for those with the inclination and the view from the rim holds without an activity around it for those without. The same road continues to Cherrapunji for Nights 2 and 3. Day 4 returns through Mawphlang Sacred Forest before Shillong closes the trip. Daily breakfast on CP basis throughout.

October to April is the best time for sightseeing, trekking, and clear valley views.
