Drifting 5 Days Little Andaman Tour Package | Plunging
Overview
Little Andaman Islands sits approximately 120 kilometres south of Port Blair at the bottom of the accessible Andaman chain — a government ferry journey of 6 to 8 hours that most travellers are not willing to make, which is precisely why the island looks the way it still does. Butler Bay Beach on the island’s western side is approximately 11 kilometres long with no commercial development on the sand, consistent wave action from the open western exposure and a quality of emptiness that Radhanagar Beach on Havelock — excellent as it is — has not been able to offer for some years now. The interior of Little Andaman carries coconut plantations, paddy fields and a rubber plantation alongside dense forest, and two waterfalls — White Surf and Whisper Wave — sit in that forest accessible by short jungle treks. The Onge tribal reserve on the island’s southern section is strictly protected and no tourist access is permitted there. This little andaman tour package covers the accessible parts of the island honestly and completely.
Bon Voyagers manages the complete programme from Port Blair Airport arrival. Day 1 settles the group in Port Blair with the Cellular Jail and the evening show. Day 2 takes the early morning government ferry south — 6 to 8 hours on the Bay of Bengal before Little Andaman’s coastline appears on the horizon. Days 3 and 4 are the island days — Butler Bay Beach, White Surf Waterfall, Whisper Wave and Dugong Creek. The return ferry runs on Day 4 afternoon and brings the group back to Port Blair by evening. Day 5 is the departure. Private AC Ertiga or Xylo class vehicle covers all road transfers at Little Andaman and Port Blair. Ferry tickets, all entry permits and charges are included. Daily breakfast and dinner on MAP basis throughout.

Best Time to Visit
Little Andaman’s government ferry service is most reliable between October and May when the Bay of Bengal crossing is calmer and the open-ocean swell at Butler Bay Beach is consistent without being dangerous. The monsoon season from June to September brings rough seas that frequently disrupt or cancel ferry sailings — this package should not be booked in that window. The post-monsoon period of October through December offers the best combination of clear sea crossings and comfortable temperatures on the island. Peak demand falls in December through February when the weather is driest and the island’s forest and waterfall treks are at their most pleasant.
