The famous version of Cherrapunji points outward and downward – the plateau edge, the cliff face, the 340-metre waterfall dropping to the valley below. The garden of caves cherrapunji package goes in the other direction entirely. Ka Bri Ki Synrang at Laitmawsiang is a 2.5-hectare limestone park where a descending trail moves through 11 distinct natural formations – caves, waterfalls, rock formations and a healing spring shaped by the same rainfall that made the plateau famous but encountered from inside the hill rather than from the edge of it.
Bon handles the vehicle from Guwahati Airport or Railway Station with Cherrapunji as the three-night base. Day 2 gives the garden its full morning with the descent into the limestone system at its own pace before the afternoon closes with Dain-Thlen Falls. Day 3 runs the standard Cherrapunji plateau circuit – Nohkalikai Falls, Mawsmai Cave, Seven Sisters viewpoint and the Eco Park cliff edge. Day 4 returns to Guwahati Airport or Railway Station. Daily breakfast on CP basis throughout. Note that the Garden of Caves is closed on Sundays and this package is not available for a Day 2 Sunday visit.

Meghalaya stays cool year-round. Shillong enjoys pleasant weather (15°C–25°C), while Cherrapunji and Mawsynram receive heavy monsoons (June–September), creating dramatic waterfalls. Winters (October–February) are crisp and dry (4°C–16°C), perfect for exploring living root bridges, crystal-clear Dawki river, and limestone caves. October to April is the best time for sightseeing, trekking, and clear valley views.
